Meet Eden…
I am a fine line Tattoo Artist, Designer, Illustrator and Photographer. I am from Mount Maunganui New Zealand and currently living in Australia.
I have always had a deep passion for creativity and I love being able to share what I can do with others. I have a Bachelor of communication & interaction design Degree, specialising in photography and illustration from AUT 2016. Afterwards I decided to pursue a career in drawing and found a love for tattoos. I worked at a tattoo studio for a while as an apprentice and then created Zeneden, a place where I can share my passion for art with people and have been creating artwork each day ever since. I ran my own studio and business from the Beauty Hq in Mount Maunganui for years, I then moved to Gold Coast Australia for a year and then moved back to NZ to work at Seventh Day Studio in Auckland. After losing my house and all belongings in a landslide in Muriwai I went through the process of rebuilding myself and expanding my creative avenues. Change is something I have embraced and overtime it becomes a necessary tool for growth. I believe that as long as we remain positive, everything always works out better than imagined. I now live in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Australia and work at Sol Temple Tattoo studio. I absolutely love living here and enjoy connecting with the wonderful community.
My art is inspired by botanical and otherworldly themes and I use a lot of black and white detail in my work. I’m always expanding my subject matter but mainly enjoy drawing flora and fauna and human figures, focusing on the space, creating sophistication through simplicity. It’s interesting watching my style grow, capturing new mediums and inspirations.
